The Infinity Sign

Now surprisingly this blog post has nothing to do with social media like a song or a celebrity. It actually has to do with a simple symbol that OUT OF NOWHERE, people are obsessed with. The symbol itself only means "infinite" and it looks like a sideways 8, but narrower. People in this world are out there getting tattoos of this symbol. This symbol is as stupid as saying, "YOLO." I don't understand why all of a sudden people started getting some admiration over something that has been around for centuries. And all this means is never-ending. So what you're going to put an infinity symbol meaning "never-ending?" As in you never end....because we do end..... I mean it's a cute thing to have but it doesn't represent a religion or anything. Honestly, I use this symbol in my college algebra to define the domain and range of the graph... not on my body. I'm sorry if I have offended you and you have an infinity sign, it's cute.... kind of.

The Kardashians

The Kardashians to me is something that I have never understood. Why? Well because I never really understood the reason that they got actually famous... because they're not talented in any whatsoever in the acting or singing aspect. And the only reason they got the modeling career is AFTER they were discovered so I honestly don't even know why they deserve to be billionaires. But beside the point, the show itself "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" is dumb yet somewhat entertaining. The entertainment that I'm talking about is the season when Kim divorced Kris Humphries... how much more entertainment do you need by just watching Kim destroy her relationship of a two month marriage. The Kardashians are composed of Bruce Jenner, Kris Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Kendall Jenner. Wow I've never seen so many K's in my life.. poor Rob. Well anyways I think that this show has extended their limits with the season to the point that there is nothing else to "keep up" with. I don't care anymore if Kim gets into another fight with Khloe, when Mason smiles, when Rob does nothing but eat junk food, when Kendall flies to Las Vegas without permission to get a tattoo, when Khloe needs to see if she's biological to the Kardashians, and ETC!!!!!! I hope I proved my point about how STUPID the conflicts of this family are... they have all the money in the world that it's sometimes hard to see them fight over the stupidest things.....society these days.

Justin Bieber

Now we can all agree that Justin Bieber has been overexposed now for about 3 years, especially in his "Baby" era. Then the whole relationship with Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber blew up. In addition, the scandal that Justin Bieber supposedly had sex with a fan in his dressing room, and GOD FORBID he cheats on Selena. Anyways, at first I thought this guy was pretty shitty not going to lie, and his music sucked. Like I don't know how many times he was going to scream BAAABYY in his chorus. Nonetheless, the person he has become now due to the fame and money (in my opinion) was not expected at all. It seems that he's really ghetto or something.... the way he dresses and his new songs. He's tatted up from head to toe (not extreme but still) with piercings and wears pants that start by his thighs revealing the boxer of the day, following his dunks. I remember him when he first started as some baby or something that looked so innocent. In all his interviews he would talk about how he believes in God and still needs to do chores (have the whole humble picture going on). But in all reality, he looks like a new Eminem or something. I don't understand his ghettoness I really don't. The blonde hair doesn't compliment it too much either. I mean I feel like I didn't have to talk about how overexposed this guy was due to the fact that he's been overexposed for three years. So instead I talked about his dramatic change. Below is a video of his latest song called "Boyfriend." He tries to rap in the beginning or I'm not sure what he's trying to do... enjoy!

Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus

The relationship between Liam Hemsworth (22) and Miley Cyrus (19) was never that much a big deal and yes the media paid attention to it, but recently this relationship just BLEW UP out of proportion...with good reasons. Liam and Miley have had a three to four year on and off relationship like a typical celebrity usually does. Why? Well maybe because Liam lost his mind and decided to propose to Miley Cyrus... I wish i heard the bells. Frankly, as much as I want to say that they will live happily ever after (I hope they prove me wrong), I hear lawyers more than anything. I believe in love and all the wonders that comes through it, but at this young of an age it's hard to discover who we really are and what we are going to become in life.... even though they already know what they are. I think that they should enjoy their time together and see if it really is time to get married. I get so sad at the fact that the idea of marriage has lost its meaning. Marriage used to be forever and EVER but now people just want the pretty ring and wedding but don't actually care about the real meaning. The social media has this whole proposal on buzz and make jokes about how they're way TOO young to get married. I wish them the best, but we all know that the bright lights from Hollywood and media already affect a marriage, so lets see how it'll play out considering how young they are.

Starships

The song Starships by Nicki Minaj is so DUMB and HORRIBLE that I can't even write a full paragraph due to the lack of LOGIC that this song contains. I don't even know WHY somebody in their right MINDS would write a song about starships. I mean not only is it about a non existent MACHINE that is dumb as hell, the only thing the lyrics say is that starships are meant to fly.... well I hope they fly. I mean I expect them to fly because it's a ship that circle stars.... but nonetheless it is such a stupid beat too like BUM BUM BUM B UMMMMBUUUMBUM BUM. I'm sorry this blog post is so poorly written, I just don't understand why a song like this would be famous. It honestly makes me question society and their lack in good taste... (see how I correlated my motto into that). Anyways, that's all I can say about the song... and how much I hate it.

Call Me Maybe

The song "Call Me Maybe" sung by Carly Rae Jepsen is extremely overplayed that I memorized the song in about three plays of how easy and simple it was. This song became famous because of a video that was filmed by a bunch of Disney stars like Selena Gomez, Ashley Tisdale, and including Justin Bieber. Not going to lie, this song is extremely catchy...but nonetheless it is far far far away from being a good song. It's that typical "bubble gum" music that is just a catchy tune with no actual moral to the song. Usually the song lyrics can't even have a moral to it because the actual lyrics don't actually MAKE SENSE. For example:


"I threw a wish in the well,
Don't ask me, I'll never tell
I looked to you as it fell,
And now you're in my way

I'd trade my soul for a wish,
Pennies and dimes for a kiss
I wasn't looking for this,
But now you're in my way." 


If anyone could translate what these lyrics mean please let me know. I apologize for the fact I simply don't understand why she traded a soul and then she thew a wish instead of dimes and pennies in a well?! But then it gets better, this is the chorus of the song that is repeated an unhealthy number of times:


"Hey, I just met you,
And this is crazy,
But here's my number,
So call me, maybe?"

I mean obviously she just really wants a boyfriend or something because usually guys do the call me maybe thing not the girls. Regardless, the lyrics say it all. It just a stupid song about a girl that finds some guy super hot and goes over the edge to tell him that she fucking loves him.
